Business Development Manager (BDM)

Responsibilities/Summary of Functions:

· Driving sales to ensure that teams in the branch meet their targets
· Work with team leads to actively drive sales of the Company’s products by ensuring profitable clients are sourced after, in order to hit agreed targets
· Managing and running the branch effectively
· Active contribution to the development and implementation of strategies to achieve stipulated and agreed targets
· Ensure full adherence to investment mandates and client profiles
· Participate in the preparation and delivery of client presentations when necessary
· Preparation of strategy reports and period-end portfolio review reports when required by the Head Office
· Other duties relating to the job role

· Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role
· Degree in Finance, Marketing or related discipline

· Strong leadership and analytical skills
· Excellent communications skills
· Ability to work with initiative, autonomously and as part of a team
· Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
· Result oriented
